Wondering if anyone knew William J. Spalding from Dresden, New York. He was my grandfather but I know very little about him and wish to learn more about his military career. I was in the 3rd Special Forces Group and was amazed to learn that my grandfather was a member of the First Special Service Forces... I actually found out upon completing the Qualification Course... funny how things work out. But I appreciate any help to include the smallest details about William J. Spalding!!
