I am George B.G. Foster's son. It is with deep regret that I post the passing of my father on January 13th, 2010.

George was with the 1st platoon 6th company 3rd regiment 1st FSSF.

At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We will remember

God Speed Dad

I am truly sorry about your fathers passing. They really were "The Greatest Generation". So few left.

I watched them make some of their first jumps at Fort Harrison. I was only 9 years old, but even then
I knew this was something special.

Thanks for men like your father,
Matt Brown

Matt thank you for your kind words. They were very much appreciated by George's sons and daughters.
