My name is John Schurke I am from Springfield, Mo. My Father Everett Schurke was in the FSSF and fought @ Mt. LaDefensa and was wounded in Anzio and ended up in Springfield at a army hospital called O'rielley Army Hospital. During his recovery he met my mother LaBelle, and the went on to have 6 kids.

My two brothers and I will soon be visiting Helea, Mt. for the reunion. Looking foreward to meeting as many people as I can and learn about these great men.

Anyone else here going?
