My name is Greg Kirkpatrick My Father is Roy C Kirkpatrick who served with the FSSF.I was wondering if anyone new him or served with him,or has any info about him or his role in the war.Thankyou in advance Greg

Looking at the roster for the FSSF,
R.C. Kirkpatrick, 6-1
Barrie, Ontario
He served in the 1rst Regiment, 6th company. That will help with locating information or pictures. Also, after talking with William "Sam" Magee (6-3), he told me one of the best ways to find information is to know his nickname, as most servicemen didn't pay attention to each others names. The FSSF was a very small group of men, and photos will probably have nicknames listed on them.
